My really lame, but a true story submission for the MLP-ATG-Alumni group's weekly theme - Week 4 “A Pony Inspired by a Song” Come over and join us in drawing wonderful Friendship is Magic Ponies!

I have been listening to his great mixes of pony inspired music in my truck for the last two months. I am still not sick of them! It really helps relieve the dullness of RL to dream of ponies while driving along.

“A Pony Inspired by a Song” or “The Art of Celestia’s Dress”
Recently, I was feeling poorly while at work, so I went for a nap in my truck. It was very hot in there, but it felt good with whatever disease was messing with my body. I put “The Art Of Celestia’s Dress” by IamNotACleverPony (get it, play it, love it, buy it!) on repeat and finally fell into a dream-filled sleep. I woke up dreaming that I was sketching Twilight’s face and the words to the song were “Sketching Twilight’s Face” instead of the song’s correct “Stitching Twilight’s Dress”. This version of the song is an instrumental, so my brain filled in the lyrics. I immediately took up a pencil and crappy little pad and tried sketching Twilight hoping for something “magical”. No references, of course. This took about two minutes. I was half-asleep and still feeling crappy, and it really looked good right after I drew it.

However, later, well, at least it’s recognizable as Twilight.
